The seal safari is an evening tour departing at 4.00 pm from Tyrislöt on Wednesdays and from Fyrudden on Sundays. The journey begins with a stop at Harstena, where a guide will introduce you to the island, its history, and its former seal hunting practices, before heading out to the Sandsänkan seal protection area.

At Sandsänkan, at the far edge of the outer archipelago, we search for the seal colony that has recently re-established itself around the lighthouse—a perfect opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in their natural environment.

We return to Harstena for an hour and there is time to explore the island a bit more. Enjoy a meal at the local restaurant or a picnic before heading back home.
